Horse Camps & Birthday Parties
Summer Day Camps are offered during the months of June & July. Ages 5-12. Maximum of 15 kids per week. Cost is $275 per week. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9AM to 2PM and consists of:
- Group Horseback Riding Lessons with Qualified Instructor
- Horse Care Responsibilities such as learning how to feed, groom &
bathe the horses, as well as mucking the stalls
- Arts & Crafts
- Horse-Related Activities & Games (scavenger hunt, trivia game,
painting a horse, saddling a horse, cleaning tack, etc)
- Swimming in Outdoor Heated Pool
- Cookout for Kids on Friday
- Horse Show for Parents to Attend on Last Day of Camp

Poplar Ridge is a family-run horseback riding stable that offers children's week-long day camps during the summer. The goal of our horse camps is to teach beginner and intermediate riders the fundamentals of riding, as well as how to properly care for a horse. Our camps are designed to be both educational and lots of fun! Children ages 5-12 are welcome! We have 6 horses in our barn that we've used for the past 10 years as part of camp. Our campers form great bonds with Rocky, Missy, Mater, Beau, Sarah and Tetley and tend to come back year-after-year to visit them!
